What is the best time for a photo shoot in the mountains?
The main season in Kazbegi & Gudauri runs from May to October, with green landscapes and easier access to locations.
- June–July — lush, vibrant mountains
- September–October — warmer tones and fewer crowds
Winter (December–March) offers a completely different atmosphere with snow. During this period, I mainly shoot in Gudauri, as the road to Kazbegi is often closed due to weather conditions. Gudauri is the most reliable and convenient location for winter sessions, making it the best choice for planning snowy mountain shoots.
What if the weather is bad?
Mountain weather can change quickly — that’s part of the experience.
I always help you plan with flexibility in mind:
- adjusting the timing
- choosing more protected locations
- keeping backup options
Even with clouds or fog, the mountains often look even more unique.
How do we get to Kazbegi or Gudauri?
Both locations are about 2–3 hours from Tbilisi by car.
I can recommend reliable drivers and help plan your travel so everything runs smoothly.
How far in advance should we book?
Ideally 2-3 weeks in advance.
For peak season (August — September), earlier is always better.
We’ve never done a photoshoot — is that a problem?
Not at all. Most people I work with have no experience.
I guide you through the process in a natural way, with no stiff posing, just simple direction so you can relax and enjoy the moment.
Can you help us choose the perfect location?
